Walk in Integrity in 2025
If you want to reduce your sources of stress in the new year, follow the principles laid out in God’s word. Living in obedience to God is a recipe for peace, but living in rebellion to God is a recipe for disaster.
Solomon tells us this in several of his Proverbs: "The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked." (Pro 10:3);
"Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out." (Pro 10:9)
"What the wicked dreads will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted." (Pro 10:24)
It’s true that the righteous may suffer for their faith, but Peter says that “even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled.” (1Pe 3:14)
Although suffering and tragedy come to godly people, God brings good from their troubles. Paul says we can “know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Rom 8:28)
You can’t control the world around you, but you can decide to obey God. When you decide to live within God’s will, you’ve decided to live in a place of peace that passes understanding. If you’re outside of God’s will, come home to a safe haven today. -Paul
